Explore five specialized fields where you can learn by doing, gain hands-on experience, and understand civil engineering from fundamental principles to practical applications, while getting an up-close look at career paths in each discipline.
Learning
You will learn the design, control, and management of various civil engineering-related projects, such as building construction, geotechnical work, water resource management, traffic engineering, road design, and surveying. You will also be able to start businesses related to civil engineering.
Scholarship
- Civil Engineering Alumni Scholarship This scholarship is for undergraduate students in the Civil Engineering Department in their second, third, and fourth years. It's awarded to students who have good academic performance and/or are in financial need and have good conduct. Students cannot be receiving a continuous or full-tuition scholarship from another source. The scholarship amount is 20,000 Baht.
- Platinum (Full Scholarship) This scholarship is awarded to the student with the highest academic performance in the International Civil Engineering program. One student per academic year will receive a full scholarship.
- Platinum (Half Scholarship) The second and third-highest-performing students in the International Civil Engineering program will each receive a 50% scholarship. This is awarded to two students per academic year.
- Outstanding Achievement The fourth and fifth-highest-performing students in the International Civil Engineering program will each receive a 10% scholarship. This is awarded to two students per academic year.
- Petchre Pra Jom Klao Scholarship The scholarships support outstanding students in academic, sports, arts, leadership, and creativity. They cover tuition, 30,000 baht for equipment, and a monthly allowance of 4,000 baht.
- Dhammaraksa Scholarship Scholarships are available for the underprivileged in remote areas or those whose family has never studied at the tertiary level, who are ready and willing to help and support university activities by participating in and performing university-determined activities, including at least one volunteer activity each semester. Recipients will receive tuition fees according to the curriculum, a lump sum of 10,000 baht per year for educational equipment, a monthly accommodation fee of 1,500 baht, a monthly living allowance of 4,000 baht, and the right to stay in a KMUTT dormitory.
